How does snow gear hire work?
If you’re looking to rent snow gear, it’s as straightforward as renting a car or holiday house. After you’ve made your selection, you would then provide us with a valid ID and full matching credit card details as a bond. Any damages incurred must be paid for by the renting party; according to assessment or the replacement cost of the damaged item. Once you’ve hired your snow gear and taken it with you on your snowy adventure, simply bring it back upon your return and your bond and any final checks will be sorted.
Can I try on the gear before I rent it?
Absolutely! If you’re in Sydney and have time to visit us in-store before your trip, come on down and rent snow gear in advance. Getting fitted and booking your snow gear before you leave guarantees you won’t miss out on the best equipment in the size and colour you want.
For my first time in the snow, what should I be renting?
The essentials are mandatory when renting snow gear for your first visit to the snow. This includes your ski boots and clothing, with warm pants and the option of a Roxy, Quiksilver or Cartel jacket.
Depending on your chosen activity, you can select snow skis and poles, a snowboard or even a toboggan! Trust us when we say you don’t need to be a kid to ride on one of those down a snowy hill. Of course, if you’re travelling with children, we also have kid’s clothing and snow skis, plus helmets, for that extra protection.
